The Azienda Socio Sanitaria Territoriale degli Spedali Civili di Brescia, known as Ospedale Civile of Brescia known as the Civil Hospital of Brescia, is recognized as one of the most efficient hospitals both in Italy and in Europe and declared in 2013 the second best Italian hospital behind the San Raffaele in Milan.

Ospedale Civile di Brescia (correct name Spedali Civili) is one of the main health centers in Northern Italy. It is also the reference hospital of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Brescia.
